Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with students of various ages and abilities, including those with special educational needs. This role involves providing personalized instruction and support to enhance student learning outcomes, fostering a positive and engaging learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized tutoring plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Provide instruction in specific subject areas, ensuring comprehension and mastery of concepts.
- Utilize learning technology and resources to enhance the tutoring experience.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and educators to track progress and address concerns.
- Assist in curriculum development to align tutoring sessions with educational standards.
- Create a supportive atmosphere that encourages student participation and confidence.
- Monitor student performance and adjust teaching strategies as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievements.
Qualifications
- MUST HAVE experience working with children.
- Experience working with students in an educational setting is essential.
- Background in early childhood education or special education is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching roles, demonstrating effective instructional techniques.
- Familiarity with learning technology tools that facilitate remote or in-person learning.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with students and their families.
- Experience in childcare or classroom settings is an advantage.
- Ability to develop curriculum materials that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Availability required Monday-Friday from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM, with occasional weekend shifts.
- MUST be able to work a minimum of 15–20 hours per week.
